LG is back in the market with the tablet G Pad 5 10.1. This tablet is considered to be a successor to the LG G Pad 4. This is the first tablet which is launched by LG this year. The tablet was launched on November 5, 2019, in South Korea. As the name suggests this is a 10.1-inch tablet. This tablet is an android based product.
It is well packed with a sizeable 8,200 mAh battery. The other features of the tablet which make it a well sought after product is its dual cameras, metal back and LTE. The device also has GPS and Bluetooth 4.2 connectivity and comes along with Snapdragon 821. The Snapdragon 821 quad-core SoC is a 3-year-old processor having clock speeds up to 2.34 GHz.

The display screen of the tablet is a 10.1 inch IPS panel paired with FHD+ resolution. The G Pad 5 10.1 tablet has dimensions 247.2 x 150.7 x 8 mm. The tablet weighs about 498 grams.
At the bottom of the tablet, there are dual speakers. There is a 3.5 mm headphone jack at the top of the tablet. On the right side of G Pad 5 10.1, there is a fingerprint reader that is positioned adjacent to the volume button and the power button. The internal storage capacity of the tablet is 32GB. The storage capacity of the tablet can be easily enhanced up to 512 GB using an external storage device such as a micro SD card. The tablet is also featured with a 4GB RAM.
The tablet comes with an 8 MP rear camera paired with autofocus on its backside. In addition to the rear camera, there is a 5 MP camera on the front side that serves the purpose of video calling and is also well suited for clicking selfies. The device has a metal frame along with significant bezels on all sides of its display screen. The single rear camera setup is also present on the backside of G Pad 5 10.1.
The newly launched device is featured with an 8,200 mAh battery. There is also support for Quick Charge 3.0 tech. G Pad 5 10.1 also has a USB – C type port. On either side of the port, the Stereo Speakers are present.
The G Pad 5 10.1 tablets are specialized with Bluetooth v4.2. The device also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. The other important features of the tablet include a 3.5 mm audio jack and GPS. The device is specially featured with Android 9 Pie along with LG’s custom UX at the top of the box. The only color in which the G Pad 5 10.1 is available in the Korean market is silver.
The newly launched tablet has been priced by LG at KRW 440000.
G 5 10.1’s launch worldwide has not yet been confirmed. Hence it can be well assumed that the tablet may be kept exclusive to South Korea itself.
