Plot Of Trickster

The plot of Trickster is set in 2030 and revolves around the members of the Boy Detectives Club having 5 members including their leader, Kogoro Akechi. It showcases the Detective club of Boys who get together under a mysterious Detective, Kogoro. Together with the help of their unique skills, they solve all the mystery cases.

One day the club’s junior member, Hanasaki, happens to meet a boy with supernatural abilities, Yoshio, who is immortal but for some reason yearns to die. As a result of some past incidents, Yoshio even refrains from contacting people. Impressed with Yoshio’s skills, Hanasaki cracks a deal with him to join the Boys Detective Club, and in return, he will help Yoshio find a way to die. Soon, they find that there is a connection between Koshio and the criminal, Fiend with Twenty Faces.

The story starts with a violent security robot who is out to destroy Shibuya. The case is eventually handed to Detective Kogoro, but he is énroute with one of his club members, Ryou, to take charge of the robot’s manufacturer. On the other hand, the club’s other member, Hanasaki, is on the case of a lost dog, solving which he encounters Yoshio. Soon certain events take place causing them to join hands, and they together solve a case having their interests linked thereunder. One day the criminal, The Fiend With Twenty Faces, tricks Hanasaki into being kidnapped. To release and save Hanasaki, Kogoro and the other members of the Boy Detectives Club reach Le Waqua. Hanasaki is made to control the Fiend’s security robots who have held the employees of a complex hostage. Fiend puts forth a condition to Kogoro to kill Hanasaki to save the employees.

Though things settle, this incident traumatizes Hanasaki leaving him psychologically unstable, and eventually, it leads to his exit from the Boy Detectives Club.
