Noida, January 28, 2021: Today Microsoft has launched their new India Development Center at NCR that is going to serve as a hub for engineering & innovation. India Development Center launched is Microsoft’s 3rd Development Center after Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
This new center will collaborate with the teams of Microsoft globally for building products & services to drive digital solutions. IDC facility will offer opportunities for talented engineers in areas of Business and Productivity tools, Cloud and Enterprise, AI, Core Services, Gaming division, and more.
The India Development Center has got inspiration from the Taj Mahal. Right from the marble inlays to arches, vaulted doorways, and domes made by carpenters and stonemasons, are the tribute to the historical & rich craftsmanship of our country,” said Microsoft in their statement.
The project commits to sustainability, and this new facility has implemented water and energy conservation practices that will reduce the carbon footprint. Microsoft’s Project Team included several considerations during this design process just to ensure that office meets our sustainability measures.
The Regional Director of Asia Real Estates Operations, Riku Pentikäinen said in a statement: “Recognizing the strategic significance of establishing the Microsoft engineering presence in NCR, my team tried their best in ensuring our engineering facility in Noida represents the Microsoft Design Language that is infused with the local culture & inheritance.
